About Our Mission
We are dedicated to empowering caregivers and enriching lives by providing comprehensive training to those committed to caring for the elderly. Our program, in partnership with the National Institute of Social Defence, equips you with the essential skills for a fulfilling career in geriatric care.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, trainees will be able to:
- Understand the aging process and its effects on physical and mental health.
- Develop effective communication skills for interacting with the elderly, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Master basic nursing skills, including monitoring vital signs, medication management, and personal care.
- Learn to provide palliative and rehabilitative care to improve the quality of life for geriatric individuals.
- Gain proficiency in fall prevention, mobility assistance, and emergency response.
- Acquire knowledge of nutrition, diet management, and oral hygiene specific to the elderly.
- Understand the legal and ethical responsibilities of a caregiver.
A Free Training Program
This comprehensive training program is offered completely free of charge to all selected candidates. Our mission is to remove financial barriers and provide accessible, high-quality education for aspiring caregivers.
Assessment Strategy
To be eligible for the final assessment, trainees must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 80% attendance in theory, practical sessions, and on-the-job training.
- Successful completion of all weekly assessments.
- A clean disciplinary record throughout the course.
