Back to HomeThese instructions cover the application process, selection criteria, attendance requirements, and student conduct rules for all candidates admitted to the course.
I. Application Submission & Interview Process
- Application Submission (Online Process):The application must be completed and submitted online. The applicant is then required to take a printout of the submitted application form.
- Documents Required for Submission at Counseling:The printed application, along with photocopies of the 10th +2 (Intermediate/Higher Secondary) Marks Sheet, Age Proof, Aadhar Card, and other related documents must be submitted at the time of counselling/interview.
- Completeness and Deadlines:Incomplete applications or those received after the last date will not be accepted.
- Documentary Proof:All claims made in the application must be supported with original documentary proof at the time of the interview.
- Interview Notification:Only qualified candidates will be called for Interview/Counseling.
- Travel Arrangements:Candidates called for interview/counseling must make their own arrangements. No TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Dearness Allowance) will be paid by SSVS or NISD.
- NOC Requirement (Government/PSU Employees):Employees of State/Central Government or any Public Sector Undertaking must send their application through their employer. An advance copy may be submitted, but a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from the employer must be produced at the time of interview/counselling. Failure to produce the NOC will result in the candidate being disallowed from appearing.
- Notification of Results:The list of qualified and called candidates will be notified on the Campus Notice Board and organization website. No separate individual intimation will be given. Non-receipt of individual notice does not invalidate the selection process.
- Correspondence:No individual intimation will be sent to non-selected candidates, and no correspondence on this matter will be entertained.
Important: Document Upload Requirements
All scanned documents, including your passport-sized photograph, must be clear and legible. Your photograph must be a proper, scanned passport-style photo. Uploaded documents that are blurry, illegible, or not properly oriented will lead to the rejection of your application.
II. Course Structure & Attendance Rules
- Course Basis:This course is conducted on a full-time basis. Students are not permitted to undertake any other part-time or correspondence courses.
- Minimum Attendance:To appear in the final examination and viva-voce evaluation, a student must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance in the class AND at least 80% attendance in Block placement separately.
III. Student Conduct and Disciplinary Actions
- General Conduct:All admitted candidates shall maintain good conduct, attend classes regularly, and abide by all regulations of the Organization.
- Prohibited Items/Usage (Strictly Prohibited):The use of Cell Phones, Radios, etc. that may disturb the class is prohibited inside the classroom.
The usage of tobacco products, consumption of alcohol, or psychotropic substances is strictly prohibited within the institution premises. - Property Damage:Damage to or loss of organization property will result in penalization of the student or group of students, and may lead to suspension.
- Misbehavior:Misbehavior with teaching, non-teaching, office staff, or any other student may lead to disciplinary action, including expulsion.
- False Information/Concealment:If a candidate is found to have supplied false information or a false certificate, or has withheld or concealed information, he/she shall be debarred from continuing the course and will face appropriate action initiated by the Program Director.
IV. Ragging Policy (Zero Tolerance)
- Ragging is BANNED in this institution.
- Mandatory Declaration:Candidates and their parents/guardians must sign a declaration confirming their awareness that ragging is banned.
- Expulsion for Involvement:If any incident of ragging is brought to the notice of the authority, the student concerned will be given an opportunity to explain. If the explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority will expel him/her from the organization.
V. Final Authority
- Selection Decisions:The decision of the Program Director of the Organization and Head of Senior Citizens Division, NISD, shall be final in all matters of candidate selection for admission to the course. No appeal shall be entertainer.
- Regulatory Changes:The rules and regulations contained herein may change in accordance with the decision of the Organization from time-to-time.
